Welcome, and thanks for joining us today! We’re continuing our sermon series, “What We Believe,” where we’re exploring the foundational truths of our faith through the New City Catechism. This week’s message is titled "How many persons are there in God?" and will be brought to us by our Lead Pastor, Stefan Bomberger. We’re excited to dive into this powerful question and discover more about the nature and character of God together!
How many persons are there in God?
ANSWER: "There are three persons in the one true and living God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are the same in substance, equal in power and glory."
THE TRINITY
1. There is one true and living God.
2. The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God.
3. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit, the Spirit is not the Father.
