Dr. Willie L. James Jr. was born and raised in Philadelphia. As a young man, he was an amateur boxing champ. In 1985 the Lord called him from the boxing ring to fight the good fight of faith. The mission of his life is to be a Christian, disciple-making, kingdom-building Pastor, and his vision is to further the cultural mandate of Genesis 1 and the missional mandate of Matthew 28. Dr. James co-labors in ministry, with his beloved wife, Dr. Danette L. James, and he is the father of two blessed adult children.
